Take a look
at the video of L'HYDROPTERE,
a large French Tri at about 47 mph or 54 mph
with reefed sail. Other videos show the evolution
from a RC model.

Well, I can't
say you need a background in surfing to appreciate
these two short clips, but it sure does enhance
the experience...

I am interested
in finding ways to make toy boats that resemble
those an amateur boatbuilder might make. Because
I am a teacher, my focus is on student-projects.

CP 2 last year for the EC posted some pics on
his website.
There's a few shots of a couple ne'er do well

I went down
to Galveston with camera in tow to take some
pictures of Nina. The pictures
were saved to an Imagestation file. I only "sorta"
know what I'm looking at, I'm admittedly still
on the learning curve. So if I've made any mistakes
in the descriptions, please feel free to give
me an education.

Have you been
following Graham Byrnes' EC22 build over on
Messing-about?
'Pears he's right serious about getting down
the coast quickly! I do like his wood/carbon
fiber mast though. Neat.
