This afternoon I got my Wanderer
design on the water and I'm tickled to report that
she performed just meant to: sits right on her lines,
steady as a rock, easy to single hand, great visibility,
and wonderfully spacious and comfortable. She's a
bit slow in light wind, but goes along nicely as soon
as you've got 3 or 4 knots. The little 40 lb trolling
motor pushes her easily and can be used on 30% power
to maintain headway when the breeze drops off.
My wife, Terry dedicated
her the "Terry Jeanne". |

Steve Bosquette came along and gave
great help. My wife, Terry dedicated her the "Terry
Jeanne" and then delighted me by coming aboard
as my first mate (all puns intended). We got in two
short sails, about an hour on the water. This was
nearby Lake Galena, with winds light and variable
- 1 -5 knots.

A couple of photo's are attached. Many
thanks to you folks for the great site and service
this past year and a half. I'll put together a complete
report this Autumn.
