Don't overbuild your boat unless you want it to last a lifetime. Overbuilding costs money, is wasteful, makes your boat slower, harder to steer and less able to carry you and your people, and their associated stuff. If you like building boats, you may one day find that the excuse that your old boat is wearing out might just enable you to build another one. Doesn\'t that sound good? ;-)
