FL14
Chuck,
You may remember that I meet Sandra and you for a few hours at the Lake
Martin messabout. Well, I finally finished and launched my FL14 from
www.bateau.com It is my first
boat. The FL14 is a 14 foot flat bottom skiff for rowing or power up to
7.5 horsepower. So far I have just used a trolling motor or oars. It is
very stable and a trolling motor pushes it along quite nicely. I plan on
using it for warm water fly-fishing on several lakes near my home and a
small river. With a few minor repairs, I will get a 6HP motor on it that I
bought secondhand. Attached are some pictures of the launch day. The
launch was done at a small lake in Oak Mountain State Park near
Birmingham, Alabama. I really enjoy your online magazine. Please keep up
the good work.
